Eddie Zar is a Los Angeles electronic artist and producer creating melody-driven music across house, progressive, trance and the wider EDM spectrum.
From curiosity to a catalog.
Eddie started making music in 1998 after discovering FruityLoops, now FL Studio. What began as experimenting with beats and loops while he was in college became a creative outlet he never completely left behind.
Life eventually pulled him toward careers in accounting, finance and retail, but music kept finding its way back. In 2016, rediscovering his early tracks on an old hard drive reignited the urge to produce. During the 2020 lockdown, he finally had the time to go deeper, sharpening his production skills and building a large catalog of new material.
Today, Eddie works across Ableton Live, Logic Pro and FL Studio. His sound is rooted in electronic dance music but is not confined to one lane. Melody comes first, with influences spanning house, progressive, trance and high-energy festival music.
For Eddie, producing is less about fitting a genre label and more about creating the moment when a melody, a build and a drop connect with the listener.
